Scientific Office

The Scientific Office is the body responsible for knowledge production, research, and intellectual development within the Syrian Future Movement. It serves as the scientific and intellectual authority supporting decision-making and policy formulation through the preparation of specialized studies, research papers, and analyses of national, regional, and international issues using a sound scientific methodology. This contributes to developing the Movement’s strategic vision and strengthening its role in public affairs.

The Scientific Office’s tasks include:

– Preparing studies, research papers, and strategic papers in various fields.

– Providing intellectual and scientific support to the leadership and the Movement’s various offices.

– Analyzing national, regional, and international issues and anticipating their future trends.

– Preparing specialized reports and strategic assessments that contribute to decision-making.

– Contributing to the development of the Movement’s general visions and policies based on scientific and research data.

– Promoting scientific and intellectual culture within and outside the Movement.

– Supporting researchers, experts, and academics and encouraging their scientific contributions.

– Building databases and knowledge resources that serve the Movement’s goals and projects.

– Preparing and publishing scientific and intellectual articles, research papers, and studies. – Organizing conferences, seminars, forums, and intellectual and scientific dialogues.

– Building partnerships and collaborations with research centers, universities, and scientific and intellectual institutions.

– Supporting knowledge innovation and developing research, analytical, and foresight tools.

– Monitoring scientific and intellectual developments and utilizing them to enhance the movement’s performance.

– Contributing to the production of knowledge related to issues of state, society, and development.

– Preparing intellectual education and training programs for members and staff.

– Developing curricula, training materials, and knowledge resources specific to the movement.

– Promoting a culture of critical thinking, scientific dialogue, and rigorous research.

The Scientific Office comprises:

First: The Research and Studies Department

This department is responsible for preparing studies, research papers, and strategic and scientific papers, and for bringing together intellectual, cultural, and research elites affiliated with or cooperating with the movement. This contributes to developing the movement’s intellectual, political, and developmental vision and enriching public discourse with sound knowledge.

Second: The Capacity Building and Self-Development Department

This department is responsible for preparing and implementing training, educational, and qualification programs, developing the skills of members and staff, and enhancing their leadership, administrative, intellectual, and specialized capabilities. This raises the efficiency of institutional work and contributes to building qualified personnel capable of assuming responsibility.

The role of the Scientific Office is manifested through the activities of the office director and staff by overseeing research and scientific plans, preparing studies, reports, and strategic papers, organizing intellectual, scientific, and training activities, managing research and knowledge partnerships, and ensuring the quality of scientific and educational content. This solidifies the Scientific Office’s position as the intellectual and strategic mind of the Syrian Future Movement and the main supporter of its vision, projects, and national goals.

The Scientific Office also represents the center of expertise and strategic thinking for the Syrian Future Movement, and the knowledge-based reference point supporting decision-making and the development of visions and policies.
