The Syrian Future Movement announces the launch of its annual campaign to distribute sacrificial meat as part of its “In Their Affection” initiative for Eid al-Adha 2026. This campaign continues the movement’s humanitarian and social approach of supporting our people in various Syrian regions and strengthening the values of solidarity and compassion among the citizens of our nation.
This year, a total of 140 portions of meat, each weighing 2 kilograms, will be distributed. The Syrian Future Movement has chosen to conduct the sacrifices in northern Syria, specifically in the city of Azaz, which previously housed the movement’s official headquarters. This choice was based on its symbolic and patriotic significance, as well as the region’s suitability for implementing the campaign effectively.
The meat will be transported after freezing on the fourth day of Eid al-Adha and distributed to those in need at 10:00 AM at locations to be announced later by the movement.
This year’s distribution will cover:
Azaz and surrounding areas
Aleppo and surrounding areas
Damascus and its countryside The city of Al-Dumayr in the Damascus countryside.
The distribution will also include:
Lists of former detainees from Saydnaya Prison.
Lists of members and staff of the Syrian Future Movement in the aforementioned areas.
Concealed lists of some impoverished and dignified families in Damascus and its countryside, to protect their privacy and preserve their human dignity.
