In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Master Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.
The Religious Office of the Syrian Future Movement is pleased to express its warm welcome of the presidential decision issued by the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, declaring public institutions closed on Thursday, September 4, 2025, in celebration of the Prophet’s birthday.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that this decision reflects a deep respect for the religious and social traditions of the Syrian people and affirms the government’s commitment to strengthening national unity and cultural pluralism. It is consistent with the customs of religious Syrians who celebrate this auspicious occasion with joy and reverence. In this context, we appreciate the government’s keenness not to impose any sectarian orientation, despite the existence of divergent opinions within some circles that may oppose the celebration of this anniversary.
Our celebration of the birth of the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is an expression of our love for his guidance and Sunnah, and an opportunity to renew our pledge to spread the values of mercy, tolerance, and coexistence he brought. We call on all Syrians to take advantage of this occasion to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and unity, and to work toward building a future Syria that unites everyone under the umbrella of justice and freedom.
And God is the Grantor of success.
