Economic Office

It is the body responsible for preparing the economic and developmental visions and policies of the Syrian Future Movement, studying the economic reality and analyzing its challenges and opportunities, in order to contribute to supporting sustainable development, enhancing economic stability and social justice, improving living standards, and contributing to building a modern national economy capable of achieving recovery, advancement, and comprehensive development.

The tasks of the Economic Office include the following:

– Preparing the economic and developmental visions and policies of the Movement.

– Studying and analyzing the local, regional, and international economic reality.

– Preparing specialized economic studies, research, and papers.

– Submitting proposals and solutions related to economic reform and sustainable development.

– Monitoring fiscal, monetary, and investment policies and analyzing their impact.

– Preparing visions and strategies related to the post-conflict economy, the early recovery phase, and reconstruction.

– Studying reconstruction opportunities and proposing policies that ensure sustainable and balanced development in various Syrian regions.

– Supporting local development initiatives and empowering communities to participate in the development process and create economic opportunities.

– Preparing studies related to the development of affected areas and reducing developmental gaps between Syrian governorates and regions. – Studying labor market issues, unemployment, poverty, and living standards, and proposing appropriate solutions.

– Supporting policies that promote production, investment, entrepreneurship, and economic innovation.

– Encouraging entrepreneurial economic initiatives and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as drivers of development and social stability.

– Working to encourage domestic investment and attract Syrian capital, both within the country and abroad, to contribute to development and reconstruction.

– Developing visions and proposals to attract Arab and international investments and enhance the business and investment environment.

– Supporting public-private partnership policies that serve economic development and create job opportunities.

– Contributing to the development of economic policies that promote equitable development across Syrian regions and support service and development decentralization to achieve optimal use of local resources.

– Monitoring global economic developments and their impact on the Syrian economy.

– Promoting the principles of transparency, integrity, and sound economic governance.

– Preparing periodic economic indicators and reports relevant to Syrian affairs.

– Building cooperative relationships with economic experts, researchers, and economic, developmental, and investment institutions.

– Contributing to the development of economic and developmental initiatives and projects that serve the movement’s objectives. – Providing economic consultations and recommendations to the leadership and various institutions of the movement.

– Supporting economic policies that achieve a balance between economic growth and social justice.

The role of the Economic Office is manifested through the activities of its director and staff in preparing economic studies, reports, and papers; analyzing economic indicators and developments; monitoring local and international policies and markets; communicating with relevant experts and institutions; and presenting developmental and investment visions, recommendations, and initiatives. This contributes to building realistic and sustainable economic policies that support Syria’s renaissance and enhance the well-being of its citizens, in line with the vision and national and developmental goals of the Syrian Future Movement.
