As part of efforts to strengthen institutional communication and expand the horizons of cooperation with national organizations active in the charitable, developmental, and human rights sectors, a delegation from the Syrian Future Movement and the Syrian Future Foundation visited the headquarters of the Al-Aaqil Foundation for Charitable Community Development on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The delegation was received by the foundation’s president, lawyer Mohannad Bilal.
The visiting delegation included:
Mr. Ali Al-Bardaqani, Director of the Legal Office
Ms. Aya Al-Abbar, Director of the Family Office
Mr. Haidar Al-Hammadi, Director of the Grassroots Office
Ms. Fatina Al-Tawil, member of the Family Office
During the visit, a joint meeting was held to address several issues of mutual interest. Key topics included enhancing developmental and charitable cooperation, coordinating efforts to serve the most vulnerable groups, fostering synergy in human rights and awareness-raising initiatives, and developing mechanisms for direct engagement with the local community to identify and help address its needs.
Both sides also discussed the importance of exchanging expertise and ensuring complementary roles among national organizations—a step that contributes to supporting social stability and promoting sustainable development, especially in light of the current challenges facing Syrian society.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the delegation expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the Al-Aaqil Foundation for Charitable Community Development, led by lawyer Mohannad Bilal. They emphasized the importance of maintaining ongoing communication and working toward the formation of future institutional partnerships, with the ultimate goal of establishing memoranda of understanding to formalize areas of joint cooperation.
This visit is part of an initiative by the Syrian Future Movement and the Syrian Future Foundation to expand their network of national relations and strengthen partnerships with civil society organizations. This effort is rooted in the conviction that building the Syria of the future is a shared national responsibility—one in which political, human rights, social, and developmental endeavors must converge to serve the Syrian people and safeguard their dignity and rights.
