Praise be to God, who made the month of Ramadan a season of mercy, forgiveness, and deliverance from Hellfire, and revealed in it the Quran as guidance for mankind and clear proofs of guidance and the criterion.
Peace and blessings be upon the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, Muhammad, the servant of God and His Messenger, who said: “When Ramadan arrives, the gates of Paradise are opened, and the gates of Hellfire are closed.”
Free sons and daughters of Syria, both at home and abroad,
With the dawn of Thursday, the blessed month of Ramadan arrives in a new year, bringing with it tidings of renewal and hope after long years of pain and sacrifice.
It is a month that unites us at the table of piety and compassion, reminding us that true humanity is manifested in giving, patience, and solidarity, and that a homeland can only be built with united hearts and joined hands.
We in the Syrian Future Movement call upon you, in this holy month, to renew our covenant with God, with ourselves, and with our homeland:
- A covenant of commitment to the values of true Islam: mercy, justice, and benevolence, far removed from all forms of fanaticism and exclusion.
- A pledge to rebuild Syria on the foundations of equal citizenship, responsible freedom, and human dignity for every son and daughter, regardless of religion, sect, ethnicity, or place of origin.
- A pledge to look to the future with faith and diligent work, for fasting is not merely abstaining from food and drink, but rather training oneself in patience, discipline, and sacrifice for the common good.
The Syrian Future Movement sees Ramadan as an opportunity to strengthen national unity and build bridges of affection and compassion among all segments of Syrian society.
It is a month that teaches us that a unified nation can only exist through genuine partnership, that Syria’s rich diversity is a source of strength, not weakness, and that social justice and equity are the path to lasting stability and true progress.
We ask God to make this month a month of goodness, blessings, and peace for Syria and its people, to accept our good deeds and yours, to restore security, dignity, and prosperity to our homeland, and to unite its people in a just, free, and dignified state founded on the rule of law, human rights, and freedom and dignity for all.
Ramadan Mubarak to you, to Syria, and to the entire Muslim nation.
