Visit to the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts

As part of the Syrian Future Movement’s commitment to supporting academic and cultural institutions, Dr. Zaher Badran, the movement’s president, paid an official visit to the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts on Sunday, December 28, 2025. He was received by the institute’s dean, Professor Ghassan Ghanoum.

During the meeting, the president of the Syrian Future Movement reviewed the educational process at the institute and listened to a detailed presentation on future plans aimed at developing academic and artistic performance. They also discussed the challenges facing the reform process within the institution, particularly those related to the administrative and structural environment.

The two sides also discussed the importance of attracting young Syrian talent and providing a nurturing environment conducive to artistic creativity, reflecting the high cultural and human values ​​upheld by the Syrian Future Movement and all Syrians.

They addressed the difficulties associated with low salaries and bureaucratic complexities that hinder efforts to improve the institute’s financial and academic standing. They also discussed the urgent need to amend certain laws and regulations to provide the institute with broader opportunities for growth and development.

At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Zaher Badran expressed the Syrian Future Movement’s full support for the Dean’s efforts in leading the institute, emphasizing the movement’s readiness for close cooperation to serve the students’ best interests and enhance the educational and technical process.

Dr. Badran was accompanied on this visit by Mr. Jumaa Muhammad Lahib, Director of the Research and Studies Department at the Syrian Future Movement’s Scientific Office.
