Congratulations on the anniversary of Evacuation Day.

Syrians celebrate on April 17th every year the anniversary of the departure of the last colonial French soldier from Syria in 1946.

The Syrian Future Movement considers this date a national gathering point for all Syrians, regardless of their political and intellectual affiliations.

The Syrian Future Movement sees the necessity of using this date as a motivation for the Syrian people to rid themselves of all current occupations and mandates, leading to true national independence.

The Syrian Future Movement warns against repeating the experience of military coups and political despotism after the end of the current occupations, as happened during the first independence from French colonialism.

The Syrian Future Movement remembers the greatness of Syrian ancestors and fathers in defeating the French occupation, and supports their descendants in continuing to complete the steps of the Syrian revolution by overthrowing the Assad regime and all who orbit it, and removing all current occupations and international mandates from all Syrian territory.
