The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) completed a new training titled “English Language Level 2” in October 2024.
☆ The training targeted a number of teachers and university students, totaling 19 male and female trainees, with a duration of 20 training hours spread over 6 days.
☆ The aim and purpose of the training: To build the capacities of Syrian youth in the field of English language and to acquire new English vocabulary and meanings.
☆ Type of training: In-person, where the trainees were present at the Syrian Future Movement (SFM) office in the city of A‘azaz, north of Aleppo.
And they were introduced to the following skills:
- Basic words and phrases
- Simple sentences
- Forming questions and answers
- Listening and comprehension
- Basic grammar
☆ The training advanced to enable the trainees to introduce themselves and talk about family members, professions, favorite foods, and drinks.
The training concluded at the end of the fifth day, achieving its goals, as a survey was conducted with the trainees to evaluate the training:
- The trainer
- The course content
- The location
The results were positive, and they expressed that the evaluation method was highly professional, with each trainee providing their feedback on an evaluation form that highlighted the positives and negatives of the training, as well as the challenges faced during the training.
