On this day in 2011: Hama Province witnessed demonstrations on the “Thursday of Brotherhood Among Sects,” affirming the unity of the Syrian people. The protests took place in the neighborhoods of Al-Hamidiya, Al-Hader, and Al-Sabouniya, as well as the towns of Latamneh, Taybat al-Imam, Qamhana, and Kafr Nabudah. Protesters chanted in support of Syrian cities and in favor of the National Council.
