From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 25/10/2012

On this day in 2012: Two protests took place in Damascus, one near the Umayyad Mosque and the other near the Midhat Pasha market. The “Damascus Youth Gathering for Building Tomorrow” blocked the Mezze highway with burning materials, and residents staged a sit-in in the Al-Izza Square in Bab Srija to demand the release of detainees.
