The barbaric campaign launched by the murderous Assad regime against its people continues, showing no distinction between military and civilian, between a fighter seeking the freedom of his homeland, armed to protect honor and defend the country, and a worker striving to provide for his family, leaving his home to secure the bread they depend on.

We will not denounce the massacre by the regime that struck the city of Al-Safira in the Aleppo countryside, as the bloodthirsty regime bombed its bakery and mixed the blood of its residents with the bread of their children!!! We will also not denounce the bombardment of the southern regions by the regime’s warplanes!!! Nor the targeting of other areas of the city by the artillery of the defense factories from Mount Al-Waha and the Abu Jreen road!!! All of this is what the regime has accustomed us to since the early days of the revolution for freedom and dignity in Syria. However, we condemn the international silence, the global human rights organizations, the Arab League, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the slumbering Arab peoples.

We call on the legitimate umbrella of the opposition and revolutionary forces, the “National Coalition,” and all the political opposition factions to play their role in documenting the regime’s violations of human rights through the bombing of civilian facilities such as bakeries, hospitals, and schools. They should have a more significant role in global diplomacy to criminalize the head of the murderous regime, paving the way for bringing Assad to trial under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter as a war criminal against his homeland and people par excellence.
Mercy for the martyrs, and just retribution against the murderer.
