The targeting and assassination of Al-Jazeera correspondent Mohammed Al-Masalmeh (Al-Hourani) is the greatest evidence of an attempt to obscure the bitter truth by silencing the free word and the free camera.

It calls on the free people of the nation to become platforms for free media to expose the regime’s plans to exterminate anyone who opposes or disagrees with it, using all available means (audio, print, and visual).
It calls on Al-Jazeera to shed light on this documented crime with audio and video evidence, and to pursue the perpetrators through all possible and available means.

It hopes that Al-Jazeera will honor the martyr Mohammed Al-Masalmeh (Al-Hourani) with the Free Journalist Medal and support his family after him, as a tribute and acknowledgment of his sacrifice.
