Podcast Syrian Future Movement (53): Freedom from a Current Perspective

  1. It is a great principle and a necessary right of the individual citizen.
  2. It is the key to the realization of man’s humanity, for there is no humanity without free will, and no free will without full and undiminished freedom.
  3. It is all that is allowed by a free law passed by an elected national parliament.
  4. It is the ability to choose and will both, and is not linked to the desire of a tyrant or the decision of a tyrant, but rather to the just law that regulates the life of the citizen in the one nation.
  5. Freedom is the foundation of social morality, a condition for the realization of a developed society, an engine of civilizational action, and a basis for the independence of society as a master of itself and its destiny.
  6. Freedom is independence from all foreign occupations and tutelage, and rejection of any current or future interference that would hijack the Syrian national decision.
