On this day in 2012: Demonstrations took place in the neighborhoods of Al-Amaal, Al-Hamidiyah, Al-Jubaylah, and Hassan Al-Tah Street in the city of Deir ez-Zor, as well as in the cities and towns of Al-Bukamal, Al-Mayadin, Hajeen, and others. Additionally, a student protest took place, gathering several schools in the city of Deir ez-Zor.
