It is the body responsible for formulating the general policies of the Syrian Future Movement and guiding its strategic positions in accordance with its national and democratic principles and its vision for building a modern Syrian state.
The tasks of the Political Bureau include the following:
– Preparing the general policies and political and strategic visions of the Movement.
– Formulating official political positions on local, regional, and international issues and events.
– Analyzing political developments and assessing their impact on the Syrian situation.
– Preparing political and strategic studies, papers, and specialized research.
– Developing the Movement’s political discourse and enhancing its presence in the public sphere.
– Managing political relations with national parties, forces, civil society organizations, and various stakeholders.
– Contributing to national dialogue efforts and building national consensus and partnerships.
– Submitting proposals related to political, constitutional, electoral, and administrative reform.
– Monitoring priority national issues and preparing recommendations regarding them.
– Coordinating political positions with the Movement’s various offices and bodies.
– Supporting the Movement’s executive leadership with political advice and strategic assessments. – Representing the movement in meetings, events, and political dialogues in which it is assigned to participate.
– Issuing political statements, positions, and declarations in accordance with the movement’s established procedures.
– Documenting the movement’s political activity and highlighting its vision and positions through all available means.
The role of the Political Bureau is manifested through the activities of the Bureau Director and its staff, including visits, meetings, political dialogues, issuing statements and declarations, and preparing articles, studies, research papers, and analytical papers, all in line with the movement’s methodology and general vision, thereby strengthening its presence and influence in public affairs.
