The Syrian Regime’s Bombing of Darat Izza

The number of victims from the artillery and missile shelling by the Syrian regime forces, which targeted the residential areas of Darat Izza, west of Aleppo, on the evening of Sunday, December 17, has risen to 5 civilian martyrs, including a child and a woman, and 5 others injured, including two children. This is a preliminary count, and a fire also broke out in a fuel and food store.

The Syrian Future Movement condemns the Syrian regime and its Russian and Iranian allies, holding them morally and legally responsible for the killing of Syrian civilians.

The Syrian Future Movement views the regime’s shelling of civilians as a clear violation of the de-escalation agreement.

The Syrian Future Movement denounces the international community’s indifference to the killing of Syrian civilians.

The Syrian Future Movement views Turkey’s lenient role in protecting the de-escalation zones, which were agreed upon with the Russians and Iranians, as a serious matter and expects a greater role from Turkey in protecting civilians, as it is the guarantor and accepted mediator by both parties.
