As part of its ongoing commitment to serving the community and promoting the values of solidarity and cooperation, the Syrian Future Movement implemented its 2026 “In Their Compassion” campaign during the holy month of Ramadan. This campaign aimed to support needy families inside Syria by providing them with food and in-kind assistance.
This year, the campaign covered the capital, Damascus, and its surrounding countryside, extending to Idlib province in northern Syria. Hundreds of food baskets were distributed with the participation and presence of a number of revolutionaries and activists, in a gesture of gratitude to those who played a prominent role in the Syrian revolution.
Participants expressed their deep appreciation for this initiative, which specifically targeted impoverished families, emphasizing that such humanitarian efforts embody the spirit of the revolution and the values of solidarity that have united Syrians across the country.
The “In Their Compassion” campaign is part of an annual charitable project launched by the Syrian Future Movement since its inception. The project aims to support those inside Syria with food and financial aid, and to solidify a culture of collective action and social responsibility.
The campaign was implemented according to precise mechanisms that ensured transparency and fairness in distribution, and included the following stages:
- Collecting price quotations for specific types of food items, taking into account health and quality standards.
- Opening the quotations and selecting the most suitable ones by the campaign’s specialized committee.
- Forming specialized committees for procurement, packaging, and auditing to ensure that the materials conformed to the required specifications.
- Preparing lists of beneficiaries and verifying their eligibility in cooperation with local field teams.
- Carrying out the distribution process in a way that preserves the dignity of the beneficiary families, and adhering to the principle of not photographing those who do not wish to be photographed, out of respect for their privacy.
Those in charge of the “In Their Affection” campaign emphasized that the goal of this effort is to build bridges of compassion and brotherhood among the people of the same nation, and to embody the values that Syrians have called for since the beginning of their revolution, where the human being remains the focus of attention and the foundation of national and humanitarian work.
Through this campaign, the Syrian Future Movement continues its mission to serve the Syrian people and alleviate their suffering, believing that solidarity is our path towards a better, more just, and more dignified tomorrow.
