Honoring the founder of the Syrian Revolution Archive

Dr. Zaher Badran, head of the Syrian Future Movement, attended a ceremony honoring Mr. Tamer Turkmani in recognition of his efforts in preserving and documenting the archives of the Syrian Revolution. The ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Culture, was held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Syrian National Library in Damascus.

The ceremony included a panel discussion on the importance of documentation and archiving.

Minister of Culture, Muhammad Yassin al-Saleh, delivered a brief speech and presented Mr. Turkmani with a commemorative plaque and a gift.

Dr. Badran addressed the Minister, requesting that he facilitate suitable conditions for Mr. Turkmani to settle in Syria and continue his distinguished work in archiving and documentation within a national team under his direct supervision.

Also present from the Syrian Future Movement was Mr. Muhammad Saeed Karimou, a member of the Popular Base Office.
