September meetings with ambassadors and official figures

During September, Dr. Zaher Baadrani, head of the Syrian Future Movement, and a number of members of the movement’s offices held a series of high-level meetings with ambassadors of several friendly countries in Damascus and other official figures. The meetings addressed strengthening bilateral relations and ways to support reconstruction and investment in Syria.

  1. Qatar
    Dr. Zaher Baadrani, head of the Syrian Future Movement, and his accompanying delegation met with His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, Dr. Khalifa Abdullah Al Mahmoud Al Sharif, at his residence at the Four Seasons Hotel in Damascus. During the meeting, the delegation expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Emir of Qatar, its people, and its government for their noble and steadfast positions with the Syrian people, emphasizing the importance of continued Qatari support in various fields.
  2. Turkey
    Adviser to the Turkish Presidency, Professor Yasin Aktay, received Dr. Zaher Baadrani, head of the Syrian Future Movement, and his accompanying delegation in a friendly meeting at the Sheraton Hotel. The meeting included in-depth discussions on Syrian-Turkish relations. The head of the Future Movement praised Turkey’s positive role in Syria, expressing his hope for expanding cooperation to serve the interests of both peoples.
  3. Kingdom of Bahrain
    Dr. Zaher Badrani, head of the Future Movement, and his accompanying delegation visited His Excellency the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Wahid Mubarak Sayyar, at the embassy headquarters in the Mezzeh – Eastern Villas area. Dr. Badrani explained that his personal relationship with the ambassador spans more than a quarter century, praising his ongoing efforts to build bridges of communication between the two countries at the official and popular levels. He called for leveraging these relations to launch major projects that contribute to advancing development and reconstruction in Syria.
  4. Pakistan
    A delegation from the Syrian Future Movement, headed by Dr. Zaher Badrani, held a fruitful meeting with His Excellency the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mr. Omar Hayat Khan. The discussion focused on mechanisms for enhancing political and economic cooperation and exchanging expertise in the fields of infrastructure and investment, while emphasizing mutual readiness to launch joint initiatives in the coming period.

These meetings come within the framework of the Syrian Future Movement’s efforts to strengthen its international relations and open new horizons for cooperation to ensure an end to the suffering of Syrians, accelerate the reconstruction process, enhance Syria’s pivotal role in the region, and contribute to the success of the transitional phase.
