The “Recovery” campaign completed 120 free surgeries in Syrian hospitals.

The Syrian Future Movement followed with great interest the announcement made by the “Recovery” campaign on September 30, 2025, regarding the completion of 120 free surgical operations in several Syrian hospitals, as part of its humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the suffering of the most vulnerable groups. This qualitative achievement, which comes at a time of declining health services, represents a glimmer of hope in the path of national recovery and embodies the spirit of community solidarity that has long been the cornerstone of Syrians’ resilience in the face of adversity.

The Syrian Future Movement commends this campaign as a living model of responsible humanitarian action and considers it a practical step toward building a fair and comprehensive healthcare system that addresses the needs of citizens, free from discrimination or politicization. The movement also affirms its full support for civil initiatives that stem from the conscience of the Syrian people and express their true priorities. It emphasizes the need to protect them from any political or security interference that would deprive them of their humanitarian content.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for strengthening cooperation between civil initiatives and national medical personnel, contributing to the construction of an independent healthcare network that constitutes a fundamental pillar of the national recovery project.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that the success of the “Recovery” campaign should be a starting point for:

  • Expanding the scope of free health initiatives to include all Syrian regions, without discrimination or exclusion.
  • Establishing a national fund to support surgical and therapeutic operations, managed transparently and funded by Syrians at home and abroad.
  • Integrating these initiatives into a comprehensive national vision for recovery, including health, education, and psychosocial support.

The Syrian Future Movement, while renewing its commitment to a comprehensive national project, believes that true recovery begins with the individual and that building a new Syria requires restoring respect for individual dignity, enshrining social justice, and activating the role of civil society in shaping the future.
