During his meeting with the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Special Affairs, Ali Asghar Khaji, and his accompanying delegation, yesterday, Monday, in Damascus, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad stated the necessity of Turkey’s withdrawal from Syrian territory and that his priority is to fight terrorism.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that the head of terrorism in Syria and the region is Bashar al-Assad and his repressive police state. He alone supports terrorism, making it the only alternative to it. This has been evident since the release of extremists from Syrian prisons and then the handover of Mosul and Raqqa to them in cooperation with his allies in Iraq.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that the Turkish presence in Syria was legitimized by Assad the father through the Adana Agreement, and therefore Assad the son has no right to make this demand.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that the true beginning of the fight against terrorism lies in Bashar al-Assad’s final withdrawal from power.
The Syrian Future Movement: We support the French newspaper Le Monde’s publication of detailed maps of the Captagon networks affiliated with the Bashar al-Assad regime, and view it as a positive step that confirms our view that Bashar al-Assad and his regime are a historical disgrace to his sect, his supporters, and Syria as a whole, as a president who uses the stick of terrorism and drugs to consolidate his remaining power and influence, with Russian and Iranian cover.
