Syrian Development Fund

The Syrian Future Movement welcomes the launch of the Syrian Development Fund in Damascus on Thursday, September 4, 2025. It considers this step a promising start toward building a robust national economy that reflects the aspirations of Syrians in the post-war period.

The contribution of more than fifty million dollars to this fund from national entities represents a positive indicator of a genuine will to support sustainable development projects, enhance employment opportunities, and rehabilitate infrastructure in affected areas.

The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes the need for the management of this fund to be transparent and subject to independent oversight, and for its resources to be directed toward vital sectors that directly impact citizens’ lives, most notably education, health, agriculture, and local industry.

The Syrian Future Movement also calls for the involvement of civil society and the private sector in setting the fund’s priorities, ensuring fairness in the distribution of projects and enhancing trust between citizens and national institutions.

We, in the Syrian Future Movement, believe that development is not just numbers; it is a moral obligation toward future generations, and a path that must be built on the foundations of participation, transparency, and social justice.
