The Syrian Future Movement is positively following the announcement of a package of qualitative medical projects in various Syrian governorates, totaling $30 million, in cooperation between the Syrian Ministry of Health and the Al-Amin Organization for Humanitarian Support. The announcement was made on Sunday, August 24, 2025, during an official ceremony held at the Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus. The projects were announced by the Syrian Minister of Health, Dr. Musab al-Ali, in cooperation with the Al-Amin Organization for Humanitarian Support, in the presence of a number of ministers, governors, and representatives of international organizations.
We, in the Syrian Future Movement, and based on our national responsibility during this delicate transitional phase, emphasize the following:
- We welcome any efforts aimed at improving the health situation of Syrians, especially in light of the accumulated challenges left by years of conflict and the institutional collapse in many vital sectors.
- We affirm that the health sector must be managed according to standards of justice and transparency, free from political or geographical discrimination, and that services must reach all Syrians without exception, in cities, villages, and camps.
- We call for the involvement of local health workers and civil society in the design and implementation of these projects, to ensure their sustainability and their response to real needs on the ground.
- We demand that implementing agencies submit periodic public reports on the implementation phases and clarify the distribution mechanisms to ensure community oversight and build trust.
- We believe that these projects, despite their importance, must be part of a comprehensive national vision for rebuilding the health sector, including training, infrastructure, and good governance, in line with international standards.
- We affirm that the Syrian people are the core of the transitional phase, and that investing in their health and dignity is the cornerstone of any stable and just future.
The Syrian Future Movement will continue to monitor these initiatives and will seek to support everything that serves the Syrian citizen and promotes the building of a democratic civil state where the right to health is guaranteed for all.
