On this day in 2012: A student demonstration took place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Aleppo University, where participants chanted, “Freedom forever, despite you, Assad” and “With our souls and blood, we sacrifice for you, Homs.” Evening demonstrations were also witnessed in Aleppo Governorate, in the neighborhoods of Tariq al-Bab, Saif al-Dawla, and Sheikh Maqsood in the city of Aleppo, as well as in the towns and cities of Anadan, Atarib, Ratyan, Huraytan, and al-Bab.
