From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 15/12/2013

On this day in 2013: Regime forces carried out a violent barrel bomb campaign on eastern Aleppo neighborhoods, targeting Al-Haydariyah, Ard Al-Hamra, Al-Sakhour, Tariq Al-Bab, Al-Marjah, Bab Al-Nayrab, and Al-Ansari, resulting in the deaths of dozens of civilians. According to the Syrian Observatory, the death toll reached 76 people, including 28 children and 4 women, while the Aleppo Medical Council reported over 100 fatalities and hundreds of injuries. The most devastating attacks occurred in Al-Haydariyah, where more than 25 were killed, and in Al-Marjah, where over 15 victims, including women and children, lost their lives. A later report by the Syrian Network for Human Rights documented 132 deaths, including 42 children and 13 women.
