The targeting and assassination of Al-Jazeera correspondent Mohammed Al-Masalmeh (Al-Hourani) is the greatest evidence of an attempt to obscure the bitter truth by silencing the free word and the free camera.

It calls on Al-Jazeera to shed light on this documented crime with audio and video evidence, and to pursue the perpetrators through all possible and available means.

It hopes that Al-Jazeera will honor the martyr Mohammed Al-Masalmeh (Al-Hourani) with the Free Journalist Medal and support his family after him, as a tribute and acknowledgment of his sacrifice.
