1- We believe that the religious institution needs to be rescued from the shackles of political exploitation and restructured. We call for a complete separation between the work of the Ministry of Endowments and the General Mufti Council, so as to prevent the latter from political encroachment and intelligence exploitation, and the need to restore and activate the position of muftis and muftis at the level of the Syrian Republic to include the five recognized sects, and to appoint muftis for all governorates and cities, taking into account sectarian diversity and religious pluralism.
2- We believe in the role of theorizing and presenting visions and ideas, and the necessity of creating a higher advisory council of wise men for the state, which has no authority over the executive, legislative, and judicial authorities (as a non-binding informative consultation), with the mandate to provide advice, monitor the negative, build on the positive, and benefit from multiple orientations.
