From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 01/08/2011

On this day in 2011:
Homs province witnessed demonstrations after Tarawih prayers on the first day of Ramadan, in the neighborhoods of Baba Amr, Al-Ghouta, Al-Waer, Al-Malab Al-Baladi, Al-Khalidiya, Al-Insha’at, Al-Shamas, and Bab Dreib in the city of Homs, and in the cities and towns of Al-Rastan, Al-Qusayr, and Talbiseh. Abdul Baset al-Sarout led the demonstrators in Al-Khalidiya neighborhood in a pledge to continue the revolution.
