A large delegation from the Syrian Future Movement participated on Friday, August 28, 2026, as part of the official delegations visiting the 63rd Damascus International Fair. This participation reflects the Movement’s commitment to community and institutional engagement and its monitoring of national and economic events held in Syria.
The delegation was initially received in the VIP lounge before touring several sections and pavilions of the fair, observing the various official, economic, and service-oriented exhibits.
The tour included visits to the pavilions of several Syrian ministries and institutions, most notably the Ministry of Religious Endowments, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of the Interior, as well as other governmental and national pavilions. The delegation also visited the Turkish pavilion and several other international pavilions and exhibits, observing the offerings of the participating entities and the level of organization and preparation prior to the fair’s opening to the public.
The Syrian Future Movement delegation included broad representation from the movement’s offices and staff, including the Family Office, the Popular Base Office, the Scientific Office, and the Media Office, along with a number of the movement’s members and staff. This reflected the movement’s commitment to a collective and institutional participation, and to using such events as a platform for communication and interaction.
The Syrian Future Movement views the Damascus International Fair as more than just an economic and commercial event. It is a unifying Syrian space that can revitalize communication between state institutions, the private sector, and society, opening avenues for initiatives and partnerships, and showcasing national institutions and activities. It also strengthens Syria’s economic and commercial presence and its relations with participating countries and entities.
The visit also provided an important opportunity for the movement’s staff to connect with and introduce the Syrian Future Movement, its vision, and its activities, to enhance collaboration among its various offices, and to engage directly with the institutions, figures, and delegations participating in the fair.
The Syrian Future Movement expresses its appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Syrian government and the organizing bodies in preparing and organizing the exhibition and receiving official delegations. It also acknowledges the preparations made during the visit to welcome Syrians and visitors to the exhibition, which has now opened its doors to the public.
The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes the importance of leveraging the Damascus International Fair as a significant historical and economic landmark for Syria, and working to develop it further in future editions to become a genuine platform for attracting investments, encouraging domestic production, building regional and international partnerships, and contributing to the recovery, reconstruction, and development process.
