The Syrian Future Movement, inspired by the verse, “And as for the favor of your Lord, speak of it,” has completed the second phase of its blessed Ramadan campaign, “In Their Compassion,” building on the success of the first phase, which targeted the most vulnerable families in Damascus, its countryside, and northern Syria.
The first “In Their Compassion” campaign distributed 106 food baskets worth $2,438 in Damascus and its countryside.
The first “In Their Compassion” campaign in northern Syria distributed 26 baskets worth $598.
In the second phase, we focused on providing the necessary support to the cadres and members of the Syrian Future Movement in all Syrian governorates. The second “In Their Compassion” campaign in Damascus and its countryside distributed 41 baskets worth $943.
The second “In Their Compassion” campaign in other Syrian governorates distributed 11 baskets worth $253.
The total financial value of both campaigns reached $4,232, with a commitment to distributing aid with dignity and complete confidentiality. The diverse food aid included rice, sugar, oil, ghee, tea, pasta, lentils, beans, and other items, totaling over $4,323 for both campaigns combined.
As we document the campaign’s activities, we recognize that this initiative is not merely a material donation, but a symbolic message of hope, given to the best of our ability and effort. It breaks the siege of misery and restores dignity to the displaced and suffering, aligning with the Syrian Future Movement’s vision of building good citizens based on the values of human solidarity.
The annual “In Their Compassion” campaign embodies the Syrian Future Movement’s comprehensive national project, which places the Syrian people at the heart of its priorities and strives for a cohesive state that ensures a dignified life, strengthens the national economy, and fosters civil peace after the success of the revolution.
