The Syrian Future Movement, while appreciating this high-level diplomatic step, affirms its complete confidence in Ambassador Al Mahmoud’s experience and extensive professional career. It considers his commencement of duties in Damascus a positive indicator of the strengthening of Arab support for the transitional phase in Syria and of the consolidation of Qatari diplomacy’s role as a steadfast partner in efforts toward stability and development.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that the Qatari Ambassador’s assumption of his duties (having played a prominent role in recent months, sharing in the Syrian people’s pain, hopes, joys, and celebrations) represents a significant milestone in expanding the bridges of communication and cooperation between the two countries. It opens promising horizons for deepening economic relations, supporting humanitarian and development projects, and building partnerships that serve both the Syrian and Qatari peoples.
