The birth of the Prophet is a birth that is renewed in consciousness.

On this blessed day, Thursday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 12, 1447 AH, corresponding to September 4, 2025 AD, the memory of the nation opens to a pivotal moment in human history: the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). This was not merely the birth of a body, but the emergence of a message, the emergence of meaning, and the birth of a universal moral project that changed the face of the world.

At a time when existential questions are intensifying in Syria, and when the challenges of identity, justice, and dignity are intertwined, we draw inspiration from this anniversary from the objectives of Islamic law, which came to protect humanity, not to restrict it; to elevate awareness, not to shut it down; and to establish mercy, not domination.

God Almighty said:
“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” (Al-Anbiya: 107)
His message (peace and blessings be upon him) was the embodiment of mercy as a way of life, not a fleeting feeling.

God Almighty said: “Indeed, in the Messenger of God you have a good example to follow.” (Al-Ahzab: 21)
He is the model from which we draw inspiration today for how to build a homeland that does not exclude, a society that does not accuse others of disbelief, and a human being that is not humiliated.

We, in the Syrian Future Movement, see in this blessed, recurring anniversary an opportunity to rebuild the national project on purpose-based foundations that combine:

  • Freedom as a legal and moral right
  • Justice as a fundamental principle of religion and state
  • Human dignity as a non-negotiable goal
  • Tolerant nationalism as a bridge between those who differ, not a sword over their necks

The Syrian Future Movement believes that a true celebration of the Prophet’s birthday is not limited to praise alone, but rather by reviving its spirit in politics, public discourse, education, and social justice. We also believe that Syria today needs a new birth, inspired by the birth of the Prophet ﷺ, values that transcend ritual and establish a comprehensive human renaissance.

On this blessed day, we raise our heads not only to celebrate, but to pledge and covenant:

  • To be faithful to the message of mercy.
  • To be builders of a nation worthy of the sacrifices of its sons.
  • To be guardians of dignity, not tools of domination.

Every year, Syria is closer to the essence of its message.

Every year, its people are more capable of creating meaning.

Every year, we rebuild the human being before the building itself.

May God’s prayers and peace be upon the messenger of mercy and teacher of goodness to mankind, the Prophet of Islam and source of peace, Muhammad ibn Abdullah.
