In the context of national efforts aimed at rebuilding Syria and strengthening the foundations of stability and sustainable development, the Syrian Future Movement expresses its full support and unlimited backing for the “Deir al-Ezz” development and charitable campaign, which launched with resounding success on the evening of Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the municipal stadium in Deir ez-Zor Governorate. This campaign, which raised more than $30 million in just a few hours, demonstrated the strength of national solidarity and the will of Syrians to restore the dignity of their regions and revive their hopes.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that this pioneering initiative, which has exceeded its initial financial goals thanks to contributions from the people of Deir ez-Zor and Syrians at home and abroad, represents a fundamental step toward rebuilding infrastructure, strengthening the health and education sectors, and providing food security and adequate housing for affected families. We, in the Syrian Future Movement, believe that “Deir al-Ezz” is not just a donation campaign, but rather a symbol of national unity and a launch pad for a future Syria, in which all regions are equal in rights and duties.
The Syrian Future Movement extends its sincere thanks to all those who contributed to this tremendous national effort, including individuals and institutions, most notably the Syrian Ministry of Finance, which provided $10 million, the Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS), the “Inser” organization, businessmen, and all the volunteers and activists who contributed to the success of this initiative. We also appreciate the leadership role of President Ahmad al-Sharaa in supporting this campaign, emphasizing that such initiatives reinforce the path of comprehensive national dialogue advocated by the movement.
The Syrian Future Movement calls on all Syrians, from all components and sects, to continue supporting and participating in this campaign, while emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability in the management of financial resources to ensure the achievement of the desired goals. We affirm that the Syrian Future Movement is committed to supporting all initiatives that promote stability and justice, and we renew our commitment to building a developmental and stable Syria that respects diversity and guarantees dignity for all its citizens.
