School Restoration Initiative in the Idlib Countryside

The Syrian Future Movement warmly welcomes and fully supports the memorandum of understanding signed to restore 44 schools in the southern Idlib countryside, as part of the “Back Begins at School” campaign. This represents an important step toward restoring life to areas ravaged by war and destruction.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that education is the cornerstone of building the individual and the nation. The restoration of schools is a declaration of the will to live, a rejection of destruction, and the beginning of a path to national recovery.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for expanding the scope of support to include all Syrian areas that have been destroyed, without discrimination, especially those that have suffered exclusion and marginalization.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for the launch of a comprehensive national reconstruction project that prioritizes education, health, and infrastructure, and is based on justice, transparency, and community participation. It also encourages international and local organizations to invest in Syrians and support initiatives that restore dignity and opportunities for a decent life.

We emphasize the importance of involving national and civil forces in formulating reconstruction policies, to ensure that this process expresses the will of the Syrian people, not merely an emergency response.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that rebuilding Syria begins with building the human being, and that every restored school is a new window toward a better future and a scene of victory over despair and destruction.

Let us all be partners in this path, and let us make education a gateway to freedom, and let reconstruction be a symbol of national unity and social justice.
