On July 25th, as the Arab Day of Culture dawns upon our nation like a dawn touching the walls of the soul, the Syrian Future Movement renews its pledge that culture is not a decoration for special occasions, but rather the core of what homelands should be. It is an unforgettable memory and a compass when paths go astray.
The Syrian Future Movement views culture as a safe passage toward stability, not a luxury option in times of crisis. It is the primary incubator of diversity, the platform that rises above barriers, and the voice that does not silence in the face of darkness.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that Syria’s rich cultural heritage—from Ugarit to Palmyra, from the poetry of al-Ma’arri to the singing of Sabah Fakhri—is not only a heritage to be cherished, but also a soft power that can reweave the national fabric with wisdom and awareness.
The Syrian Future Movement sees in every free poem a revolution, in every painting hope a desire for healing, and in every Syrian tune a longing for a safe home and a homeland that embraces dreams.
The Syrian Future Movement places culture at the heart of the national project:
- To be a bridge between the components of the Syrian people, not a trench.
- To be a mirror of awareness, a platform for dialogue, and a shield against the rhetoric of hatred and fragmentation.
- To be a space for women and youth to reshape the features of tomorrow with the water of ideas, not the ink of fear.
The Syrian Future Movement calls for Arab Culture Day to become a permanent season of interaction, not a fleeting day of remembrance. It is an opportunity to redefine the Syrian self through creativity and to launch a renaissance that begins with the mind before the stone.
The Syrian Future Movement believes that the earth will not blossom unless it is watered with the water of letters, the homeland will not return unless it is built with the walls of dreams, and the future will not be established unless it is listened to with the voices of memory.
