Completion of Training: Communication Skills

The Syrian Future Movement, in cooperation with NERD CENTER, held a new training session titled “Effective Communication Skills”, as part of its ongoing support for developing life and professional skills among Syrian youth.

The training targeted individuals seeking to strengthen their ability to express themselves, understand others, and build strong and influential relationships in both personal and professional environments.

Objective of the training: To equip participants with the tools and techniques of successful communication and to enhance their ability to listen and interact effectively in various social and professional settings.

Type of training: In-person, where participants attended the training at the venue and received sessions directly.

During the training, participants were introduced to the following topics:

  • Introduction to Communication Skills: Types of communication, difference between communication and connection
  • Body Language and Non-Verbal Communication: Reading signals, using facial expressions and tone of voice effectively
  • The Art of Active Listening: Listening with empathy, asking questions, and avoiding interruptions
  • Clear Expression of Thoughts and Feelings: Using appropriate words, controlling tone, and communicating with confidence
  • Group Communication: Fundamentals and skills for teamwork and group interaction

The training included interactive activities and practical exercises supervised by experienced field trainers, and at the end, participants were awarded an accredited certificate of attendance.
