The Syrian Future Movement affirms that the stability of Syria and Lebanon is closely intertwined, and that any rhetoric aimed at distorting the image of refugees or placing blame on them for matters beyond their responsibility is irresponsible and does not reflect our shared humanitarian values.
The Syrian Future Movement would like to point out that the return of Syrians to their homeland is an ongoing process. Statistics show that thousands of Syrian families have returned home after the liberation of Syria and the stabilization of many areas. We are confident that this return will be completed once Syria fully recovers and stabilizes, following the lifting of sanctions and the restoration of state institutions.
The Syrian Future Movement calls for strengthening the fraternal relations between the Syrian and Lebanese peoples and working to build a shared future based on mutual respect and cooperation. We emphasize that any discourse or policy that incites hatred and resentment serves only the enemies of peace and stability.
The Syrian Future Movement urges the relevant authorities to take appropriate legal action against any statements or events that promote hatred or discrimination, including filing legal complaints in Lebanese or international courts if such actions are proven to violate laws related to incitement or discrimination.
The Syrian Future Movement urges the Free Patriotic Movement to reconsider and cancel its scheduled event tomorrow, Saturday, 2025-04-26, in order to preserve the fraternal relations between the two peoples and to prevent a deterioration in regional relations.
The Syrian Future Movement stresses that blaming the vulnerable is a trait of those who lack wisdom and responsibility. We believe that constructive dialogue is the only path toward understanding and enhancing stability in the region.
The Syrian Future Movement, in the event that the voice of reason and brotherhood is ignored, calls on the Syrian people to boycott all companies and institutions sponsored by the Free Patriotic Movement and to prevent them from entering Syria for future investments. The Movement considers it a hostile party to the Syrian people and also calls on the Syrian government to cut all future relations with the Free Patriotic Movement—its leadership and members—which contributes to rejecting any exploitation of the vulnerable and displaced in political conflicts.
