The escalating Israeli military escalation

On the evening of Wednesday, April 2, 2025, Syrian territories witnessed a dangerous escalation by the Israeli occupation forces, as they launched a series of intense airstrikes targeting multiple areas, including Harsh al-Jubailiya west of the city of Nawa in the Daraa countryside, resulting in the martyrdom of nine innocent civilians. The airstrikes also targeted military sites in the capital, Damascus, Hama province, Tiyas Military Airbase in the Homs countryside, and the Scientific Research Building in the Masaken Barzeh neighborhood north of Damascus. These attacks caused widespread panic among residents and led to extensive destruction.

The Syrian Future Movement strongly condemns these aggressive acts, which constitute a blatant violation of international law and human rights, emphasizing that such hostile policies reflect the arrogance of the Israeli occupation and its continued escalation against the Syrian people.

The Syrian Future Movement calls on the Syrian government to assume its national responsibilities, take urgent and decisive measures to stop these repeated assaults, and work on protecting civilians and national infrastructure.

The Syrian Future Movement urges the international community to intervene immediately to put an end to these violations and ensure accountability for those responsible.

The Syrian Future Movement affirms the importance of national unity and solidarity among the Syrian people in facing these challenges, pledging to continue working towards achieving justice and peace and reclaiming our usurped land.
