On the Ceremony Honoring Quran Memorizers in Idlib

The Syrian Future Movement warmly welcomes the honoring of the Quran memorizers on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in the city of Idlib. We view this event as a reflection of the light of faith and knowledge, with 1,493 men and women honored for memorizing the Holy Quran during a celebration organized by the Dar Al-Wahi Al-Sharif Foundation at the municipal stadium, attended by a wide array of officials and members of the public.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that memorizing the Holy Quran is not merely the rote learning of words, but rather an enlightenment of the mind, refinement of the soul, and the nurturing of a generation rooted in the highest values—values that foster a culture of tolerance and coexistence in a homeland that embraces all its people. Syria, with its rich history and deep-rooted civilization, remains a land of diversity and pluralism, where faith serves as a bridge strengthening civil peace and preventing deviations into extremism, ensuring that religion remains a message of mercy and peace, not a tool of conflict or division.

The Syrian Future Movement, while commending the efforts of those leading this blessed endeavor, affirms that Syria, despite the challenges it faces, continues to be a beacon, lighting the paths of future generations with knowledge and faith. It stands as proof that hope does not fade but remains vibrant in the hearts that seek goodness and strive to spread it.
