From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 2013/03/05

On this day in 2013: Demonstrations took place in the Al-Sukkari and Bustan Al-Qasr neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo, where protesters demanded the “purification of the Free Syrian Army” from corrupt individuals and opportunists. In Bustan Al-Qasr, they chanted for activist Wael Ibrahim Abu Maryam, who was taken to the hospital after being beaten by members of “Liwa al-Fath” while trying to prevent them from looting a shop.
