Israeli bombardment of southern Syria

The Syrian Future Movement strongly condemns the brutal Israeli bombardment that targeted the town of Kuwaya in the Yarmouk Basin area, west of Daraa, on Tuesday, 2025/3/25, resulting in the martyrdom of at least five people and the displacement of many residents from their homes.

The Syrian Future Movement considers this blatant aggression a flagrant violation of Syrian sovereignty and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region. We reaffirm that these repeated attacks by the Israeli occupation forces cannot be justified under any pretext and that targeting innocent civilians and incursions into Syrian territory constitute a dangerous escalation that must be met with a firm international stance.

The Syrian Future Movement calls on the international community to assume its responsibilities regarding these violations and to work toward halting Israel’s repeated aggression against Syrian territory. The continuation of these attacks poses a threat to regional security and exacerbates the suffering of the Syrian people, who are already facing immense humanitarian and security challenges.

The Syrian Future Movement stresses the importance of strengthening national unity and joint action among all Syrian national forces to confront these challenges and defend Syria’s sovereignty and the rights of its people. The current stage requires everyone to act with a sense of national responsibility and to place the country’s interests above all else.

The Syrian Future Movement reaffirms its full solidarity with the people of Kuwaya and all Syrian areas subjected to aggression. It calls for urgent humanitarian support for those affected by this bombardment and for justice to be served by holding those responsible for these crimes accountable.
