On this day in 2013: Two demonstrations took place in the city of Raqqa, where protesters chanted slogans including “Bashar, prepare yourself for execution,” raised the revolution flags, and shouted slogans such as “Pour your blood for freedom and let the people of Raqqa be heard.”
