A Syrian family was martyred in the village of Barkh Botan in the Ayn Arab countryside of Kobani.

The Syrian Future Movement condemns the targeting of Syrian civilians under any pretext, particularly the horrific crime that took place in the village of “Barh Botan” in northeastern Syria on Monday, 17/03/2025, where a family of nine, including seven children, was martyred, and two young girls were seriously injured.

The Syrian Future Movement, following accusations against Turkish forces for responsibility in the crime and the subsequent statement from the Turkish army denying involvement, calls for a transparent national investigation to prevent the recurrence of such a tragedy.

The Syrian Future Movement urges the Syrian government to take responsibility for protecting all Syrian civilians by all available means.

The Syrian Future Movement calls on all Syrian political forces to reject the targeting of civilians and to demand their exemption from any military escalation.

The Syrian Future Movement warns against a fifth column, whether international or domestic, exploiting civilians for political gains and considers this crime an attempt to sabotage the agreement signed between President Ahmed Al-Sharaa and General Mazloum Abdi.

The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes the necessity of establishing an honor pact among all Syrian factions to ensure the protection of civilians and prevent any violations against them under any pretext.
