From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 17-02-2012

On This Day in 2012: Deir Ezzor province witnessed 13 documented protests on the “Friday of Popular Resistance,” according to the Syrian Independent Center for Protest Statistics. Demonstrations took place in the neighborhoods of Al-Arfi, Al-Jubaila, Al-Joura, and Al-Omal in Deir Ezzor city, as well as in the cities and towns of Al-Bukamal, Al-Mayadin, Hajin, Al-Tayana, Baqras, and others. Protesters chanted for Homs and other Syrian cities, calling for arming the Free Syrian Army and toppling the regime.
