On this day in 2012: Daraa province witnessed 51 documented demonstrations with recorded footage on the “Friday of We Will Revolt for You, Baba Amr,” according to the Independent Syrian Center for Protest Statistics. The demonstrations took place in the neighborhoods of Al-Kashef, Al-Qusour, and Daraa Al-Balad in the city of Daraa, as well as in the cities and towns of Inkhil, Dael, Busra Al-Harir, Khirbet Ghazaleh, Naseeb, Kafr Shams, Ma‘araba, and others.
