International Family Day

Global Family Day for Peace and Sharing (Global Family Day) was adopted by the United Nations in 1997 as part of the second millennium celebrations, aiming to promote peace and unity among families worldwide.

The Syrian Future Movement, on the occasion of Global Family Day celebrated on January 1st, congratulates the Syrian people on the coincidence of this day with the liberation of Syria, so Syrians can once again become one family.
The Syrian Future Movement considers the unified family as the cornerstone upon which societies are built, emphasizing that a family is not merely a group of individuals but a dynamic entity that interacts with and influences its surroundings.

The Syrian Future Movement views the family as an integrated system that must strive to achieve balance between individuals and society.

The Syrian Future Movement regards the enforcement of rules and laws that protect family rights and ensure their well-being as fundamental to achieving social justice.

The Syrian Future Movement asserts that, as we rebuild Syria, our commitment to family rights reflects our respect for human rights and strengthens values of equality and justice.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals provide a comprehensive framework through which progress and prosperity can be achieved by promoting peace, achieving justice, and ensuring human rights for all. Our commitment to these goals will contribute to building a strong and sustainable society.

Through its Family Affairs Office, the Syrian Future Movement has consistently worked throughout its national journey to encourage all Syrian families to uphold values of peace, understanding, and cooperation.

The Syrian Future Movement recommends using this day as an opportunity to strengthen family bonds, spread a message of peace and love, and work towards a better future for Syria and its people.
