On this day in 2012: Demonstrations took place in Damascus and its countryside under the slogan “Saturday of Aleppo’s Martyrs,” with protests erupting in the neighborhoods of Al-Midan (Jazmatiyah and Hussein Al-Khattab Mosque in Al-Qa‘a), Kafr Sousa (Ali Ibn Abi Talib Mosque), Al-Shaghour (Industrial Area), Nahr Aisha, Al-Asali, Jobar, and Barzeh.
