On this day in 2012: Al-Hasakah Governorate witnessed demonstrations on the “Friday of Supporting the Free Syrian Army” in the city of Al-Hasakah (Al-Salhiyah, Al-Mufti, and Ghweiran neighborhoods) and the cities and towns of Qamishli (Al-Gharbi neighborhood, Al-Corniche, Qadour Bek, and Al-Antariyah), Amuda, Al-Darbasiyah, Ras al-Ayn (Serekaniye), Al-Malikiyah (Derik), and others.
