From the memory of the Syrian revolution: 24/12/2011

On this day in 2011: Evening demonstrations took place in the cities and towns of Saqba, Zamalka, Hamouriya, Kafr Batna, Daraya, Sa’sa’, Al-Tal, Assal Al-Ward, Yabroud, and Al-Ruhaiba in the countryside of Damascus. The people of Douma also held funerals for Samer Azeddine and Hamed Al-Salik, who were killed by security forces’ gunfire during the “Friday of the Protocol of Death.” Additionally, the people of Al-Ruhaiba bid farewell to Ammar Al-Yateem.
